According to a poster on fireflyprops.net, the Jaynestown hat and Trainjob hat are not the same.

The first hat mentioned in this thread. I don't think it's Jayne's. There is a discussion about it on fireflyprops.net. The hat mentioned here has two little eyelet holes in the side, the hat he wears in Safe, War Stories and some others has a single snap on the side. Found it here for $19.20 www.pacificnorthwestoutfitters.com/servlet/the-164/Henschel-USA-Aussie-Outdoor/DetailOn fireflyprops.net they were mentioning that the hat appears darker in person and less bright green.

Here's the thread: www.fireflyprops.net/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=117I got confused at first because one of the members there who purchased one was Crix and I was thinking that if you had it, you would have posted about it here. Then I remembered there was another Crix over on that site and those were his posts.

Right now it only appears as though they have medium for sale. I found one on eBay for sale for $39. I just ordered it. I plan on wearing it in Toronto. I am going to dress up as the Jayne Cobb from War Stories.

Will do. I still need to order the gloves, and put my gaiters together (I have the nylon and clasps). Don't think I'll have the resin knife completed by then, so I'll just use the rubber bowie knife I've been using up until now.

There's a guy who made a resin cast of the hilt and added wire where the the blade would be so that it fit into the sheath. I think that's the route I'm going to go.
