Ammo I finally got my ammo and mount made up. I used conduit tube and plastic for the ammo, then painted them up. I then made the mount to fit into the buttstock . He,He...I said butt. ;D The mount still needs primed and painted silver. The only problem is the ammo interferes with the line of sight. On the real prop the ammo is mounted down out of the way. Until I fab a new stock I will probably just make a block mount to move the sight up and to the side. ( simulated in 3rd pic) I know this is only a " look close to " prop but I want it to look functional. I also repainted the grips a darker brown. This quick little project just keeps growing. Hopefully I'll be able to post final pics soon.

Scope I made a riser mount for my scope . It moves the scope over about 2 inches and up 2 inches. Now the scope is operational. Hopefully the next picture will be me in Jayne garb holding VI.

I did pretty much the same thing and learned as I went. Might have to try another one someday. I used wooden blocks for the front section and removed the top bar from the butt. Reinforced it with wooden braces and used real snap rounds for the bullets. They are a little tall but it works.
