I believe this is the guy who won the real hat in a auction. he sent me these pictures of it. notice how the colors almost blend into each other.. the "yellow" flows into the "orange" which flows into the "rust" not a dramatic change like you see in a lot of the hats on ebay and etsy also notice the "Brim" (is that what its called? ) the base of the hat... I find a lot of hats without it.. they just run the same all the way to the edge. this one is my favorite appears to be the most accurate I can find made by Heather Hill www.wearwithstyle.com/She does make them, but she has limited there availability. She has been making them for 8 years now and has moved on to other things. So if you ask nicely, she might make you one. If Ma Cobb is going for authentic, did you send her the pictures of the guy who owns the original hat? Maybe she'd adjust her methods to match better. Also, if that really IS the guy that won the auction, why are the tassels on his hat so much longer than when Adam is wearing it? Did you get a hat? How do you like it? I also want the most authentic hat possible.

[/quote] I did get one from www.wearwithstyle.com/ but it took forever and I did not like the yarn she used. it itched like crazy. I also did not like the ball on top. it was a great looking hat, just not exactly what I was looking for. I can only take that guys word for it on having the real deal... I have my doubts.. I cant confirm if it is or not. so far, my favorite hat is from here www.gromidez.com/
